Privacy Policy
The short version
- This website has no trackers. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies — it doesn't even load anything from other companies' servers.
- We only hold what you send us — your name and details from the contact form or an email — and we use them solely to reply and follow up.
- The product never sends us your data. Sentavue software runs on your own hardware; your footage and analytics stay on your network. We never see them.

1. Who we are
Sentavue (ABN 95 175 344 596) is a sole trader registered in Queensland, Australia ("we", "us"). We make on-premises vision-analytics and video-management software. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@sentavue.com.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. This website
We built this site to collect as little as possible:
- No analytics or advertising. We don't use tracking cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics of any kind.
- No third-party content. The site loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies' servers.
- One local preference. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device and identifies nothing about you.
- Hosting. The site is served by Netlify, our hosting provider. Like all web hosts, Netlify processes standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
3. What we collect, and why
We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us:
- The contact form — your name, email address, company (if given), what you're interested in, and your message.
- Email — whatever you include when you email us directly.
We use this information to respond to you, arrange demos or quotes, and — if you asked for Sentavue Edge early access — to let you know about Edge availability. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing.
4. Who processes it for us
Two service providers handle this information on our behalf: Netlify (which receives contact-form submissions and passes them to us) and Google Workspace (our email). Both are established providers with their own security and privacy commitments; their infrastructure may be located outside Australia.
5. The Sentavue product
Sentavue software is installed on your own hardware and runs entirely on your own network. Camera footage, counts, analytics and alert history are stored locally on your systems and are never transmitted to us — the product has no cloud component and does not "call home". We could not access your footage even if asked to.
If you operate Sentavue with cameras, you are the collector of any footage and analytics your cameras capture, and you are responsible for using them lawfully — including any surveillance-signage or workplace-surveillance rules that apply in your state.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up you've asked for. If you ask us to delete your details, we will.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you — email hello@sentavue.com and we'll sort it out. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
